This notice explains how Mahalaxmi Jewellers, Jhanda Chowk, Bhatta Bazar, Purnea (Bihar), handles information through this showroom website.

Information you share

The visit request form asks for your name, phone number, preferred date and time. A note is optional. We use these details to respond to and arrange your visit and record its status. Submitting a request does not subscribe you to marketing. Please share only information needed for your visit and avoid identity documents, financial information or other sensitive details.

Storage and security

Visit details, timestamps, request status and a duplicate-submission identifier are stored in Cloudflare D1. Only the authenticated showroom owner can view visit requests through the website. Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website; it processes network information such as IP addresses and request information to provide and protect the service. We store a protected identifier derived from your IP address for request rate limiting. Uploaded jewellery images are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV.

Owner access

Owner authentication processes the configured owner email and submitted password. Password verifiers and the session signing secret are held in server-side Cloudflare configuration; session identifiers are stored as hashes in D1. Password recovery is currently disabled: the website does not send reset emails or issue reset tokens. Rejected requests may still be processed for security and rate limiting.

Cookies and tracking

The application sets an essential owner-login cookie only for the administration area. It expires after eight hours and supports secure access and logout. Public visitors do not need an account. We have not installed advertising pixels, marketing cookies or analytics scripts, and the application does not use browser local storage or session storage. Fonts use your device’s local font stack; no external CAPTCHA is installed. A cookie consent banner is therefore not used for application tracking. Cloudflare may process technical information as part of hosting and security.

External services

WhatsApp links open a conversation; product enquiry links can prefill a message that you choose whether to send. Messages are handled by WhatsApp and the showroom, not stored by this website. Directions open Google Maps. Instagram and Facebook links open those services. These are links, not embedded tracking widgets. Calling or emailing uses your telephone or email service. Information you share there is governed by those services’ policies as well as the showroom’s handling of your enquiry.

Retention and deletion

Visit records currently remain stored until manually deleted; the website does not automatically delete completed or cancelled requests. Essential owner sessions expire after eight hours, but their database records and rate-limit records may remain until operational cleanup. Cloudflare logs and recovery copies follow the account’s configured retention. Removing a live record may not immediately remove it from retained recovery copies. Contact us to request deletion or discuss information still needed to handle your request or applicable obligations.

Your requests and concerns

For access, correction, erasure, withdrawal of a visit request, or a privacy complaint, email mahalaxmipurnea@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request”, or call 9934725191. Include the phone number and visit date used in your request and explain what you want changed. Do not send identity documents initially. We may ask for proportionate verification before disclosing or changing information. Withdrawing a request may prevent us from arranging or following up on that visit.

Use the same contact to raise an unresolved privacy concern with the showroom owner, or to withdraw permission for further follow-up on your enquiry. Requests are reviewed individually, including any information that must be retained for applicable obligations. We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards, but no website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

We will publish changes here and update the date above. This notice describes current website behavior; applicable privacy rights and obligations depend on the law in force.
